How to get paid?
You will receive your payments directly via Wire Transfer or PayPal (Make sure you set the correct details under Settings > My Details > Payment details). Your balance is updated at the end of each month and payments will be sent once your earnings meet or exceed €50. If you did not meet the minimum, it will be moved to the next month until you reach the minimum payout.
Additionally remember that most payments are NET60, so payments are usually two months delayed.
This is because it takes music platforms 30-45 days usually to pay on a given period’s earnings and then a bit of time to turn those royalties around to their partners.
+ The Monthly statements from us DO NOT CONTAIN SALES THAT WERE GENERATED ON THE STORES DURING THAT MONTH
ie. if your release shows that it sold 100 downloads in August on the Retailer Sales Report / Dashboard in ampsuite, these sales will not appear in your August statement from us, please read why below:
+ Due to the periods during which the digital stores send us the sales data & then the payments, each monthly statement form us will usually contain sales from the stores from around 2 months prior. This is subject to the stores accounting to / paying us in the usual manner. Late payments received from any store might affect this.
+ The dance specialist stores, such as Beatport & Traxsource, usually account to us quicker
As an example (and these are examples only, these are not 100% guaranteed, for the reasons mentioned above):
– January 10th – You receive your December statement from us, this includes revenue received by us during December – which would typically include October sales at the majors ( Spotify, iTunes etc ) and November store sales form the dance specialists ( Beatport Traxsource etc.)
– February 10th – You receive January statement from us, this should include November sales at the majors ( Spotify, iTunes etc ) and December store sales form the dance specialists ( Beatport Traxsource etc.)

What do I get paid on average from streaming services?
The reason that there is no way to say exactly what a stream is worth on a platform is because the rate is dependent on a lot of variables which can drastically change the value of a play. The most important elements that decide how much a stream will pay are as follows:
Whether the listener is a paying subscriber or on an ad-supported free tier
The territory they are listening from (country and location)
The number of streams on the service overall
How many streams other artists on the service are getting
However, on average streaming services like Spotify, YouTube music, Amazon, Deezer and others pay on average between 0.003$ to 0.008$ per stream, depending on where the listener is coming from and other factors and the % revenue share between label and artist. Tidal and Apple Music for example pay out a bit higher at 0.013$ per stream.
For a stream to count toward an artist’s payout, it must be played for at least 30 seconds. Down below an ‘average’ per streaming service;
Platform | Pay per stream (Average) |
---|
Tidal | $0.013 |
Apple Music | $0.010 |
Amazon Music | $0.004 |
Spotify | $0.0032 (After 1000 streams!) |
Youtube Music | $0.008 |
Pandora | $0.0013 |
Deezer | $0.0064 |
Qobuz | $0.043 |
Preferrably you want listeners to use Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music or even YouTube Music or buy from Beatport, Traxsource, via our own Fuzion Music store.
Make sure you get on as many playlists as possible and continue to push on social media is key to get to the next level.
